Fox News’ Harris Faulkner Is On ‘Divine Assignment’

1.8K
Fox News anchor Harris Faulkner is on a “divine assignment” to tell others the “literal miracles” she has witnessed through the years.
Harris Faulkner
Harris was born and raised in a Christian home. It was her mother that taught her how to pray when she was just 2-years-old. It was also her mother who saw the gift God has given Harris even when she was still very young. That gift was her gift of gab, her ability to speak with eloquence and fluency.
“According to my mom, I never stopped talking,” Harris said cheekily. “[My mother] would tell me specifically — even more than my father — ‘there’s something about the way that you speak that’s tied to God’s gift. I don’t know what it is, but, when you speak, people listen, even at your little age.’”

Divine Assignment
Harris also reflected on it too and noticed in herself that she can tell stories in a really compelling way. But she had to learn how to use that gift and make sure she constantly thanks God for it. God has given her a divine assignment where she can use her gift.
“My divine assignment that I talk to young people about — when you’re falling in and out of that faith zone with God — just remember, try to remember if you can, that we each have a divine purpose, a divine assignment from the Lord, and stick to it,” she said. “You may be the only person in a room at times that can do what you do, whatever it is that you do.”
“Faith Still Moves Mountains: Miraculous Stories of the Healing Power of Prayer”
She is being called by God to be a witness and share with others the miracles she has seen.
“I’m called to be a witness,” the news anchor continued. “I was not called to proselytize and lead a flock— I follow in that sense — but I am a leader in the field of communication. The idea that, over the years, I’ve collected all these testimonies and the light bulb just comes on after a while. … I have been called to witness. People may wonder, ‘Well, how does a news anchor get into talking about her faith? Do those two things go together?’ Well, in this instance, they do, because I’ve witnessed literal miracles through people’s testimonies. I can pass that on.”
That is her motivation for her new book, “Faith Still Moves Mountains: Miraculous Stories of the Healing Power of Prayer.” The book was published last week by Fox News Books. In it, Harris narrates some of the most powerful faith-based stories she has witnessed as a journalist. It focuses on how prayer works and how miracles can still happen in this day and age.
