Singer Bodie and Wife Royale Share Powerful Miracle Story After Prayer

Christian artist and The Voice finalist Bodie is no stranger to talking about his faith — but now, he and his wife, Royale Kuljian, are testifying to a miracle that left even doctors baffled.

In a recent interview, Bodie opened up about a remarkable moment when God showed up in a tangible and powerful way in their lives: the instant healing of Royale’s damaged eardrum.

“My wife’s eardrum was completely blown out, infected, and not working,” Bodie explained. “The doctors were like, ‘Oh, this is not good.’ And then, that week, we went to church, laid hands on it — instant healing, full hearing [came] back right away.”

Bodie, whose music blends pop and hip-hop with Christian messages, called the moment a “pretty cool, tangible miracle” that left them in awe of God’s faithfulness.

Royale herself shared additional details, saying the situation was far more serious than a simple infection.

“I had gone to the doctor because it was just gone completely,” she said. “And, so, they saw that there was no eardrum even there anymore. It [was] completely blown.”

Doctors were preparing to reconstruct her eardrum — a serious procedure that underscored just how damaged her hearing was. But everything changed during a moment of prayer at church.

“This girl at church was praying over me, and I couldn’t hear her ’cause she was next to my bad ear,” Royale recounted. “And she was just praying, and praying, and then, immediately, I could start hearing her pray.”

She said she turned to her friend in shock and said, “I hear you, Amy.”

“It was just a crazy, just instant, immediately hearing, and it was fully gone, fully recovered,” she said.

Royale has since returned to the doctor — and the news was astonishing. Her hearing is now “perfectly normal,” with no medical explanation for what happened.

“They’re really confused,” she added with a smile. “But — a miracle.”

The couple’s testimony is a powerful reminder to believers that God still works miracles today, especially in response to faith-filled prayer. For Bodie, who continues to share his Christian faith through music and ministry, this personal experience has only deepened his conviction that God is moving in fresh and meaningful ways.

“It’s been really special watching the Lord work throughout my personal and professional life,” he said.
